What is NaijaDocOnline?

Hi, guys,  welcome to this blog.
Many of us agree that health is a vital part of our lives without which we cannot achieve our dreams or objectives we set out for ourselves in life.
However despite our best intentions, we continually fall short of achieving optimal health , sometimes it's due to inadequate information or misinformation as to how we can safe gaurd our health or get better when the sickness bug bites. Who is to blame?  What can we do about this?
Misinformation has sometimes caused untold suffering or waste of resources-probably if we were better informed we could have made a different decision.
Some times clinic / hospital visits are a rushed unpleasant experience  and we leave wanting for more or just want to run far away from that environment.
This blog has set out to help bridge the information gap by bringing relevant patient-centered information to enable us make informed decisions along with our health care provider that will ultimately be in our best interests.
This blog seeks to address common public health concerns in a simple and easy to understand manner.
Without the excessive jargon nor  aloofness that patients may perceive the Healthcare worker to exhibit during their encounters (we are not  really like that you know....)
While this blog will not seek to replace direct face to face encounters with your health provider, it will seek to make the event more productive , arming you with the necessary tools to staying healthy.
So keep a tab on this blog ,let's get comfy, a mug of your favourite hot cocoa in hand as we get our heart to heart sessions underway!
Cheers and have a wholesome day ahead!
Esther
